Do you have a website or blog? How about a Facebook, MySpace, or iGoogle page? If you use one of these, or any one of the countless social networking sites that are on the web today, help us spread the word about our programs by installing one of our widgets!
Installing a widget easy -- at the bottom of the widget you'd like to use, click the "Get Widget" button and select which service you're using. (Webmasters, site administrators, and those who are familiar with HTML code can also select the "Get Code" button at the top of the popup box or the "Embed Code" button at the bottom.)
NOTE: To see these widgets, you must have Adobe Flash installed on your computer. Click here to download the required software for free.
Federal Hurricane Response Widget
The Federal Hurricane Response widget is a
web tool to help share information during a major emergency with links to
authoritative federal government sites on how to get help; finding friends and
family; health and safety information; how to donate and volunteer; and a
summary of what the government is doing.
"I'm a Volunteer" Badge Widget
Show your volunteer pride! Install one of our "I'm a Volunteer" badge widgets -- we have one for individuals and one for organizations. Clicking on either one will take a visitor to the Volunteer.gov website where they can easily find a volunteer opportunity in their own community.
Volunteering in America Widget
To deepen our understanding of volunteering in America and to promote its growth, the Corporation has created a comprehensive new interactive web tool--called Volunteering in America--that presents and analyzes the latest Census Bureau data on volunteer trends and demographics for all 50 states and more than 125 cities. The new website allows visitors to create customizable data sheets on areas of volunteering that interest them most, and contains links to a variety of useful resources. This widget allows users to access state and city profile data from your website as well!
Grant Competition and Federal Register Notice Widgets
Social Networking sites, such as Facebook or MySpace, allow for the building online communities of people who share activities and interests through the use of chat, messaging, file sharing, blogging, discussion groups, and other web-based features and technologies. To help facilitate collaboration and sharing of Corporation information among users of these sites, the Corporation offers functionality to allow for individuals to easily add or bookmark information from certain pages on this website.
How Do I Use the Bookmark Icon?
Primarily located on pages in the Newsroom section (Press Releases and Announcements, Speeches and Official Statements, and the Newsroom Photo Gallery), this functionality is indicated by a small "BOOKMARK" icon located either at the bottom of and individual release or article. Clicking on this icon will launch a window provided by AddThis Social Bookmarking (AddThis.com) and will allow for an individual to select from over 34 social networking sites to post the selected Corporation release or article to.
Note: Clicking on the Bookmark Icon obtained from this server does not constitute an endorsement or warranty of the service provided by AddThis Social Bookmarking (AddThis.com).

You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the widget link and the applicable Corporation for National and Community Service web page.
