President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Nancy Sager upon arrival in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Friday, December 9, 2005. Sager is an AmeriCorps member serving persons with disabilities through the I-Team program at Rise Incorporated in Minneapolis. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush has met with more than 450 individuals around the country, like Sager, since March 2002.
