Lynn Lindsay (Paradise, NV.) is the garden coordinator at the Winnemucca Community Garden and an AmeriCorps/VISTA volunteer with the Nevada Outdoor School. In her 7 months of service, she has contributed over 1500 hours to the Winnemucca Community Garden and has established programs to bring in groups to the garden ranging from senior citizens to developmentally disabled adults and children. She has also worked with over 600 volunteers in rural Nevada, teaching and training them in the area of sustainable gardening. Lynn is passionate in everything she does and her work reflects not only this enthusiasm but her love for the Winnemucca community and all its members.
