Why does the As Of date have to be equal to or before the Actual End Date? There are many occasions where we finish a task, but all the dollars have not rolled in yet. How do we handle this?
Once you have entered an end date for a specific task, the As Of date being later than that will not have any effect on the SPI/CPI. When you are reporting the cost as of the end date for the task or later, you are reporting the final cost. The As Of date should not be any later than the end date. When entering cost amounts after the end date, simply enter the end date in the As Of date field.
