Course Information: This course
will provide the participant with the knowledge, skills, and tools
to become a more effective instructor. The course includes in-class
reading assignments, workgroup exercises and individual presentations.
Since the emphasis of this course is on delivery, participants will
be required to deliver TWO OR THREE presentations using a variety
of training techniques.
There is no charge to the student for this training.
In addition, FEMA will reimburse students for eligible travel expenses
to the course.
Audience: The primary focus is
State Training Officers, FEMA staff, State Exercise Training Officers,
and other trainers with emergency management responsibilities. Another
focus will be on other personnel that conduct training for their
agency. This could include other Federal, State and local agencies
or groups.
Location: National Emergency Training
Center (NETC), Emergency Management Institute, Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Prerequisite: Participants must
have completed E601, E602, E603, and E604. Exceptions will be approved
through the course manager.
Pre-Course Work: Participants must
be prepared to deliver a presentation using the content of the unit
of instruction that was delivered in the Course Development course,
that they are developing for their Master Trainer Practicum, or
another unit of instruction. The participant must come to class
with a complete copy of the unit to include instructor guide, student
manual, and visuals.
Course Length: Course starts Monday
at 8:30 a.m. and ends Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

75-5, General Admissions Application, with student signature and
supervisor or sponsoring office signature and submit through the
State emergency management training office via fax to the National
