Fort Jackson, LA, 11-01-05 -- A FEMA Preservation worker removes pre-civil war paper from its display case. Hurricane Katrina left 10 feet of water in the Fort Jackson historical museum and workers are trying to salvage the artifacts from display cases. Workers from the FEMA Federal Preservation unit are assisting the State in retreving, cleaning, and preserving historical objects. MARVIN NAUMAN/FEMA photo
