The FEMA Information Resource Library (IRL) is the online repository for important documents and other resources relating to the NFIP and many other FEMA programs. The IRL regularly adds new material and enhancements for accessing all the resources available.

Did You Know . . .

The IRL checkout process provides automatic fill-in of order forms to request printed copies from the FEMA Distribution Center. The application now produces a summary page with ordering instructions. Users click on “Print Form” to generate the order form with the title and requested quantities of the resources, then fax or mail the form or simply refer to it when ordering by telephone.

Did You Know . . .

Public users who choose not to download electronic resources can now request a CD on demand (“burned to a CD”) and sent via the U.S. Postal Service. To do this, they must create an account with user name, password, and shipping information. The Map Service Center burns and mails the requested CDs to users.
