Tracking System will validate your XML file against the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial
Metadata Version 2 (FGDC-STD-001-1998). Please note that in addition to the requirements of the FGDC standard, the Project Tracking System has its
own formatting requirements to allow proper search and retrieval of the metadata document. See the
