Course Information: The Emergency Management Institute will conduct the Healthcare Leadership Course in fiscal year (FY) 2007. This exercise-based course is offered at the Noble Training Center in Anniston, Alabama at the (closed) Noble Hospital at Ft. McClellan. Using the setting of a functional hospital environment, this course offers realistic exercises and timely presentations to participating students wanting experience preparing and responding to mass casualty events. The course methodologies of classroom instruction, planning sessions, and exercises, allow for structured decision making in a learning, yet realistic, environment.
Prerequisite: Direct functional or employment ties to Hospital, Emergency Medical Services, or Public Health agencies.
Course Length: Course starts Monday at 8:00 a.m., and ends Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Buses depart from the Noble Training Center campus Friday at 7:00 a.m.

Continuing Medical Education (CME’s): Nurse applicants accepted into the course will be eligible for 30 CME’s and physicians are eligible for 21.25 CME’s
