FEMA Donates Printers To Moniteau School District

PRINTER DONATION - Robert McDougald, left, an accountable property officer with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, helps Moniteau School District Network Administrator Andrew Stabb load his vehicle with one of the 28 surplus computer printers the federal agency donated to the district, in accordance with federal surplus property disposal procedures. Stabb, who said the Moniteau district of 1,330 students was the "smallest 3A district in the state," took delivery at FEMA's temporary field office in Jefferson City. The printers will find homes in the school's elementary, middle, and high school buildings in time for the 2008-09 year. "I know the kids will put them to good use," said school Superintendent Marty Albertson.
FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
