Course Objectives:

The objectives of this course are to enable participants:

  • To discuss general ethical principles, including:
    • Avoiding private gain from public service.
    • Avoiding preferential treatment.
    • Avoiding unauthorized use of Government property.
  • To identify activities that conflict with Federal service.
  • To list the steps to take when confronted with ethical conflicts.

    • Target Audience:

    The target audience for this training includes all staff assigned to Disaster Field Offices. This training can be used also to provide the annual ethics briefing for Permanent Full-Time employees.

    Approximate Time:

    1 Hour.
