This course is to provide participants with basic fundations and general guidelines to perform tasks of a DRC group supervision, additional experience must be accquired through training/mentoring with an experienced DRC group supervisor.
By the end of this course participants will be able to:
- Define the role of the Disaster Recovery Center Coordinator.
- Explain the relationship of the DRC Coordinator with disaster recovery partners.
- Describe the major functions of DRC Coordination during each stage of DRC Operations: Set-up, Daily Operations, and Closure.
- Describe the importance of information sharing in DRC Operations.
DRC Managers, inexperienced DRC group supervisors, DRC support team leaders and DRC support specialists.
