Course Objectives:

  • Describes FEMA and its partners' roles in disaster operations.
  • Explains the purpose of the Disaster Field Office.
  • Lists the major types of disaster assistance.
  • Identifies where to go for additional information on disaster assistance, administrative policies, safety, security and network issues.

    • Target Audience:

    The target audience for this course includes inexperienced personnel assigned to work in a Disaster Field Office. Personnel from voluntary agencies and other Federal agencies should be encouraged to attend this course.

    Version A - 1 hour, Version B - 1 hour, 40 minutes
