Request for Comments: Federal Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Declaration Form

USFA is collecting information from hotels and motels regarding the existence of smoke detectors and sprinkler systems in their buildings. We are required to maintain a list of establishments that provide transient lodging with certification in place that they meet the requirements of the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990. This information certifies that the business can be utilized by Federal Government employees for work-related lodging. Comment period closes January 27, 2009. Read Federal Register Notice
