Course Objectives:
The objectives of this course are to enable participants to:
- Identify all part of the CEF
- Understand the Cost Estimating Format Development Process
- Use the CEF to develop estimates for large projects under the Public Assistance Program
Target Audience:
The target audience for this training includes Project Officers and specialists who will work with Applicants to develop large project estimates. If the participants do not have Public Assistance Program experience, it is recommended, at a minimum, that they first be exposed to the Eligibility and Special Considerations units of the Public Assistance Operations I course. Participants should also have basic command of Microsoft Excel software.
