U.S. Congressman Berry and Arkansas State Representative Roy Ragland of Searcy County meet in Washington, D.C. to discuss future funding opportunities for the Ozark Mountain Water Alliance. The two are working to bring clean drinking water to Boone, Newton, and Searcy counties by linking 23 water systems throughout the region. (December 13, 2005)

Congressman Berry meets with Lyon College Professor Scott Roulier, Dr. Julia Roulier, and their sons, Peter and Sean, during their recent visit to Washington. The Roulier family was in town to watch Scott receive an award as Arkansas' Professor of the Year. Congressman Berry meets with Fleeta Clark of Winslow, Arkansas who was in Washington to collect an award Clark as Arkansas' Outstanding Older Worker of 2005. The 87-year old grandmother works as a water billing clerk in Winslow and is active in her community.

U.S. Representative Marion Berry meets with Jeremy Hall of Batesville, AR on November 20, 2003. Hall, a student at Southside High School, was in town with the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC).



U.S. Representative Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) received the "Friend of the Farm Bureau" award for outstanding service during the 107th Congress. Rep. Berry received the award from, left to right, Rodney Baker, Dan Hillman and, to Berry's left, Andy Miller -- all of the Arkansas Farm Bureau. This is the third consecutive year Representative Berry has received this award. The Farm Bureau presented the award in Berry's Washington, DC office on October 2, 2003.

U.S. Representative Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) met with Miss Arkansas Whitney Kirk on September 4th. Miss Kirk hails from Arkansas' First Congressional District and spoke with the Congressman about several issues, including her feelings about the state of education in this country.
