Congressman Berry fights for seniors by urging Congress to pass the Medicare
Prescription Drug Price Negotiation Act, which requires the Secretary of
Health and Human Services to negotiate lower drug prices on behalf of
Medicare beneficiaries.

Congressman Berry speaks on the House floor in favor of a provision in the Fiscal Year 2007 National Defense Authorization Bill that would require pharmaceutical companies to offer discounts on the TRICARE retail prescription drug program. Berry helped lead this fight in the House, encouraging his colleagues to put the needs of active duty and military retirees before additional profits for the pharmaceutical industry.
