	CONGRESSMAN DAVIS TO ADDRESS STATE, FEDERAL EDUCATION ISSUES AT THE ALABAMA ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL BOARDS ANNUAL CONVENTION SATURDAY

	BIRMINGHAM – Congressman Artur Davis will serve as a featured speaker at this year’s annual Alabama Association of School Boards convention at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 6th, 2008. This year’s theme is “The Art of Leadership: Create a Better future for All Students.” Congressman Davis will speak on problems facing public schools today and his vision of federal and state solutions for giving communities the tools to prepare all children for work and life in the 21st century.
