Open 9AM until 4:30PM, closed on July 4th and Christmas Day. Tickets are required. They are free and available at the booth located on the west side of 15th Street, NW, on the Mall. Due to high demand for Washington Monument tickets, it is advised that you pick up tickets early in the morning. Alternatively, advance tickets can be reserved for a small fee by visiting http://reservations.nps.gov.
