Joe Biden, U.S. Senator for Delaware

Inauguration Ticket Requests

Thank you for your interest in the Presidential Inauguration. The 56th Presidential Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony will take place at noon on January 20, 2009 in Washington, DC. Each Senator is allotted a limited number of tickets for the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony to distribute to their constituents. We will be unable to accommodate every ticket request. Part of the National Mall will be open to the public to attend without tickets and large screen televisions will be on the Mall so that as many people as possible can hear and see this historic event.

Constituents interested in attending the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony should request tickets by completing this webform. Please note that submitting a request for tickets does not guarantee tickets.

If my office is able to accommodate your request, you will be notified. At that time you will receive detailed information regarding ticket pick-up and viewing location. Due to the high volume of requests, we will only be contacting those who receive tickets. Please note that tickets will not be mailed. The individual requesting tickets will be required to show photo identification in order pick up the tickets in the Senate.
