Study Skills Tutoring
The Learning Center tutors are able to assist with various study skills to help you be a successful learner. Some of these skills include:
Online Tutoring Now Available
One one one tutoring is now available for distance students who are not able to attend a tutoring session on campus. Please follow the steps below to schedule an appointment.
- Fill out the following forms and click the "Submit By Email" button at the top of the form.
- Once your forms have been received, someone will contact you to schedule an appointment.
- At the time of your appointment, direct your browser to aura2.msugf.edu/tutorroom and call 406.771.5127 if you do not have a microphone and speakers attached to your computer.
My Skills Tutor
To log in go to www.myskillstutor.com and enter your pre-assigned username, password, and site. Your username is your first initial last name (see example below for more detail) and the password is your Banner ID with the dash. The site needs to be msu-great01 in order to log in

Student Responsibilities
- Arrive on time to your appointment
- Attend and actively participate in the class or lab about which you have questions
- Do the reading and attempt the homework on your own before meeting with us
- Come prepared and ask questions
- Schedule an appointment to guarantee that someone is available
- If you are late, you forfeit your time slot
- Call us if you can't make your appointment
- After the third failure to give advance notice of your inability to keep your appointment, your tutoring priviledges will be suspended for the remainder of the semester
