Delegation Announces $120,000 to Complete Three Affiliated Tribes' Cultural Center
Washington — Senators Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan and Congressman Earl Pomeroy today announced that a federal grant for more than $120,000 has been secured for the Three Affiliated Tribes. The grant will help defray the final cost of the Fort Berthold Cultural Interpretive Center.
"This grant provides key resources for the completion of the new Cultural Interpretive Center," the delegation said in a joint statement. "The Center is a tremendous addition to Fort Berthold, providing visitors with a better understanding of the rich history and culture of the Three Affiliated Tribes while contributing to the economic well-being of the community.”
The $120,280 grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through funds appropriated by Congress.
