New AMED Publications:
- The Library of Congress has recently published Library of
Congress African and Middle Eastern Collections: Illustrated
Guides. The
three-volume set includes individual illustrated guides to the
Library's Africana, Hebraic, and Near East collections. They
narrate the growth of the Library's extensive and comprehensive
holdings
of the intellectual heritage of more than 70 countries and countless
peoples, lands and cultures of sub-Saharan and North Africa,
Israel, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Click
