Senator Murray toured Grand Teton Enterprise's facility that will manufacture the Beierle Gasification System that will convert straw field residue into a gas which can fuel a diesel generator or be converted into ethanol.

Senator Murray secured $750,000 for the Straw to Energy Project in the FY2004 Energy and Water Appropriations conference report.
