Sen. Murray and members of the board of OPALCO stand before the PUD’s new photovoltaic panel. Murray supported funding for a federal solar energy grant, which OPALCO won and used for its photovoltaic program. Murray also helped the PUD secure funding for an underwater cable in August 2002.
