This is one of  the largest Roman-Catholic churches in the United States.  The building is a combination of beautiful architecture, chapels, and stained-glass windows.  

Guided tours are available by appointment only.

Contained within the walls of this 14th century-style Gothic cathedral are gardens, shops, and an observation gallery that offers a spectacular view of Washington.
