"Today the Air Force received Boeing's bid to replace the aging KC-135 tanker fleet. America's service members deserve a new tanker that will help them complete their missions safely and effectively, and I have great confidence that Boeing workers in Washington state can build the best tankers for our military. I'm pleased that Air Force is moving forward with a fair and open competition to meet the needs of our military and those who wear the uniform of the United States Armed Forces."
