Senator Murray joins fellow members of the Senate Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee in marking up the Department of Homeland Security funding bill for FY’05. Senator Murray has been calling on the Administration to develop uniform cargo security standards, which would help make the cargo entering our nation’s ports safer. The Subcommittee agreed to include her language in passing the bill, and the bill will now move to the full committee for consideration.
