Search Commonly Used Foreign Newspapers on Microfilm:
This search is not case sensitive. |
Type in a country or a city or a
newspaper title like "Financial Times". Try not to type more than
two names in at a time. If two yields nothing, try typing in only
one. Don't forget to use clear before you put in new data.
This is not a comprehensive list of all newspapers in the Library
of Congress. It lists only the Library's holdings of frequently
requested foreign newspapers. For a complete listing of all current
foreign newspaper receipts in this and in other Library reading
rooms, see the publication _Newspapers Received Currently in the
Library of Congress_.
Please note that it is not unusual for the Library to be several weeks
behind in receiving newspaper issues. For catalogs of older domestic
and foreign newspapers, please see the reference staff.
Newspapers in Asian and Middle Eastern language scripts do not
come to the Newspaper and Current Periodical Room, but are held
in either the Asian Division or African and Middle Eastern Division.
Current Slavic and Baltic language newspapers are held by the European
Division. The Newspaper and Current Periodical Room only has custody
of the older Slavic and Baltic language newspapers on microfilm.
