Defense

It is necessary that the United States maintains a strong national defense in order to protect our very way of life. September 11th proved that attacks on American soil are possible. We must continue to take proper steps to defend our homeland and ensure that American citizens remain safe. We can only do this with a strong and effective defense. Iraq must remain a top priority and winning in Iraq is a huge component of winning the war on terror. We must allocate the necessary resources and tools for our troops on the ground, as they continue to sacrifice themselves for the defense of the United States. Additionally, missile defense is an essential component of our international defense policy and will prove to be vital in ensuring the safety of our citizens against nations such as North Korea and Iran who strive to reach nuclear capability. Lastly, we must provide the proper funding that ensures our military dominance in the air, land, sea, and space.
