Featuring a speech on June 6, 2007 from 7- 8 PM by Kathy Brazee, on behalf of Robin Haun-Mohamed, from the United States Government Printing Office about "Current GPO Education Initiatives".
Conference Overview:
The "Government Information in the 21st Century" IMLS Grant is a
continuing education program to train reference and public services
librarians and library workers in the use of government information. A group of 50-55 government information professionals (from federal depository libraries in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming) will be available to train and support non-government information library staff in their use of electronic
government information through training sessions and workshops in their
local area, state, and/or region. The Train-the-Trainer Conference will
provide attendees (the government information professionals mentioned
above) with the necessary tools to implement these training sessions
and workshops. More.
