Woodbury to host SMART car launch

On Tuesday, January 13., Woodbury will host a delegation of fashion and automotive journalists from China for the launch of the Mercedes-Benz SMART car in China. The head of Mercedes-Benz and the head of Mercedes-Benz production in China and other dignitaries will also be on hand. The official launch will kick off with a fashion event at 11 a.m. that will position the SMART car not as an automobile, but as a lifestyle. More

Join us for art, fashion, architecture exhibitions

Looking to add a little culture to your life? Check out Woodbury's slate of exhibitions and opening receptions at the Burbank campus and at the Woodbury Hollywood Exhibitions location on Hollywood Boulevard. Topics range from the fashion display "Under-Exposed: Underwear Over Time" to an LA Forum-organized "Lineweights" exhibition of architects' work to Charles Hachadourian's solo sculpture exhibition "Topographies" .

Students to 'Emerge' in city-wide graphic design exhibit

Woodbury graphic design students will exhibit their work come February in a city-wide exhibition. The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) is hosting the exhibition, "Emerge," which involves students from various colleges and universities in the Los Angeles area. Each school will have an opportunity to showcase the work of AIGA student members, and selected students will receive scholarship awards for design excellence. The exhibition will be from 6 to 10 p.m. on February 7 on the campus of Loyola Marymount.

Woodbury University will kick off this year’s fund drive with a sweepstakes of a Mercedes-Benz Smart Car! Sold in 37 countries worldwide, the Smart Fortwo car entered the U.S. market in January and retails between $11,590 and $13,590. When you donate to the Woodbury University Annual Fund, you will be given the option to automatically be entered into the SmartCar FUNd DRIVE Sweepstakes. A donation of $50 is requested; there is no purchase necessary. One entry per person. Donations are tax deductible. Winner must pay all appropriate sales taxes. Entry/Rules
