Winter Commencement Ceremonies
Held At Texas A&M-Kingsville
It was the end of the college era, but the beginning of a new career and a bright future as 466 students received degrees from Texas A&M University-Kingsville during two winter commencement ceremonies held Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Steinke Physical Education Center. There were 283 bachelor’s degrees, 177 master’s degrees and eight doctoral degrees given. Two students received two degrees each. Read more»
Texas A&M-Kingsville Breaks Ground For $28.6 Million Residence Hall
600-bed facility is first new residence hall construction in nearly 40 years
Officials at Texas A&M University-Kingsville officially broke ground on the new residence hall at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the site near the intersection of Avenue B and Retama St. Construction will begin this month on the $28.6 million building. Total cost of the building plus furnishings is around $35 million. It is expected to be complete by August 2009. Read more»
