Dominican Announces First PhD Program

We're celebrating our academic milestone: The Doctorate of Philosophy in Library and Information Science. The first cohort of students will begin this fall. Our three-year professional doctoral program in library and information science will be the first in the Chicago area. What a terrific way in which to end an academic year!

The School of Leadership and Continuing Studies presented the inaugural International Leadership Award to Anna Eleanor Roosevelt on Tuesday, May 5. Roosevelt serves as vice president of Global Corporate Citizenship for The Boeing Company.

DU students witness history in El Salvador

Dominican students monitored the presidential election in El Salvador on March 15 as part of a study abroad course. Mauricio Funes was elected as the country's next president. This was the first time in 20 years that an opposition party has beat out the Nationalist Republican Alliance (ARENA).

Carroll, silently stood in solidarity against members of the Westboro Baptist Church, who were protesting the university's production of "The Laramie Project."
