Annual U.S. Postal Service Oversight Hearing
The Subcommittee held its annual postal oversight hearing to give the Honorable William J. Henderson, the new Postmaster General (since May 1998), the opportunity to report publicly on the state of the U.S. Postal Service and to give members a chance to ask him questions on postal issues such as performance, challenges, competition, new products, labor-management relations, workforce diversity, and contracting out. The sole witness was the Honorable William J. Henderson, Postmaster General, U.S. Postal Service.
