On Monday, March 26, I will deliver the keynote address at the Federal Managers Association 69th Annual Conference. The theme of the conference is "Investing in America's Workforce from Generation to Generation."

Monday afternoon, I chair the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management hearing entitled, "Understanding the Realities of REAL ID: A Review of Efforts to Secure Drivers' Licenses and Identification Cards." Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann and DMV Director Dennis Kamimura will be among the panelists testifying at the hearing.

Tuesday morning, I will address the National Association of Postal Supervisors Legislative Training Seminar.

Later Tuesday morning, I will attend the Armed Services Committee hearing on the nominations of Gen. Claude Kicklighter as Inspector General of the Department of Defense, James Clapper, Jr. as Under Secretary of Defense, S. Ward Casscells, M.D., as Assistant Secretary of Defense of Health Affairs, and William Ostendorff as Principal Deputy Administrator for the National Nuclear Security Administration.

I will chair the Veterans' Affairs Committee oversight hearing on VA-DoD cooperation focusing on access to health care. Among our witnesses are Iraq War veteran and Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs Tammy Duckworth, and VA Under Secretary for Health Dr. Michael Kussman.

Wednesday, I meet with Gene Sykes, Chair of the National Parks Conservation Association Board of Trustees, to discuss issues of importance to the Parks System with focus on funding needs.

Thursday morning, I will chair the fourth of four joint House and Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee hearings focusing on presentations by various veterans' organizations. This hearing will involve members of the Gold Star Wives, the Retired Enlisted Association, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart, among others.

At noon on Thursday, I will meet with nine-year-old Jordan Wills from Kamuela who is being honored in Washington as a "young champion" of the Children's Miracle Network.

Thursday afternoon, I as scheduled for a series of meetings with representatives from the Conservation Council of Hawaii, Bishop Museum, and the Hawaii Department of Education.

On Friday, I will tour the construction site of the Capitol Visitors Center. A previous tour was rescheduled due to Senate business.
