Proposed DHL-UPS Deal Brings Worried Leaders To Washington

The House Judiciary Committee in Washington heard from Ohio's two U.S. senators, the state's Lieutenant Governor, the mayor of Wilmington and others about DHL's plan to drop local air carriers in favor of United Parcel Service.

Senator Sherrod Brown says the ripple effects of the deal would reach beyond the financial hardship it will create in Ohio.

Lt. Governor Lee Fisher says the deal puts DHL and UPS one step away from a direct merger and higher package delivery costs for everyone.
