Taking advantage of tax incentives
  available via the Energy Policy Act of 2005

The 2005 Energy Policy Act was signed into law on August 8, 2005 and became effective on January 1, 2006. This federal policy act provides tax credits for certain energy efficient home or business improvements completed between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2007. Tax incentives may be available for:

Homeowners (Consumers):
  • Home Shell: Insulation, Windows and Sealing
  • Heating and Cooling Equipment
  • Passenger Vehicles
  • Solar Energy Systems
  • Fuel Cells
Businesses:
