Water Releases

Here's a look at the amount of water, expressed in cubic feet per second (cfs), expected to be discharged from PSNH hydro-electric facilities.

These discharges could change due to weather, equipment failures or unscheduled power system outages.

Remember: always be alert to changing river conditions!

Merrimack River - Amoskeag Hydro Station, Manchester:
In excess of 5000 cfs cfs will be released on Fri, Sat, 10/31 - 11/01, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Pemigewassett River - Ayers Hydro Station, New Hampton:
1500 - 2000 cfs cfs will be released on Fri, Sat, 10/31 - 11/01, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Special Notes:
The water level on the Amoskeag pond will be held at -2.3', for dam work through November. Beginning Nov.1 there will be no flow forecast until spring. (Call 634-3616 for current flow information) See you in the spring
