The Bonneville Power Administration is proud to sponsor the middle school and high school Science Bowl competitions sponsored by the Department of Energy.

The Regional Science Bowl is a fast paced academic competition where students answer science questions ranging from earth science to physical science to life science, math and general science. It is a proven tool to encourage middle school and high school students to excel in math and science and to pursue careers in those fields. Since 1992, BPA has touched the lives of over 9,000 students and teachers.
The competitors – Any current public, private or home school students from middle schools and high schools in Oregon and Washington.
2009 dates:
Middle School: Saturday, January 31, 2009
High School – Saturday, February 7, 2009
Location: The day long competitions are held at the University of Portland, in Portland, Oregon.
