(Syracuse, New York)- Congressman James Walsh has named nominees to the U.S. Service Academies at West Point (Army), Annapolis (Navy), Colorado Springs (Air Force), and Kings Point (Merchant Marine).
"Serving in the United States military is among the noblest calls to public service," said Congressman Walsh. USMA Walsh's principal nominee to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point is Ethan Gilbert (Fayetteville-Manlius H.S.).
Additional nominees are: Matthew Wainwright (Christian Brothers Academy), John Manzano (Westhill H.S.), Carl Kanerva (Webster-Thomas H.S.), Jeremy Boltus (CW Baker H.S.), Timothy Henderson (Tully H.S.), Michael Becker (Tully H.S.), and Markus Spicer (Corcoran H.S.).
USNA Walsh's principal nominee to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland is Kris Estabrook (Christian Brothers Academy).
