STATEMENT:

"The people staying in the contaminated area should not feel that they are living in another world, detached from their country. They are a part of their country, a part of the world. And giving these people a voice - giving them an opportunity to tell the world about their daily life - lets the outer world see that these are just normal people... "

Nataly Trukhan, National Program Officer, SDC Office Belarus, Minsk in 2002-2007
