Searchlight, NV – Nevada Senator Harry Reid today congratulated Green Valley High School’s marching band for being selected to appear in President-elect Barack Obama’s historic inaugural parade on January 20, 2009.

“Congratulations to Green Valley High School on this wonderful achievement,” Reid said.  “This is an exciting opportunity for these young people to represent Nevada during this historic event, and will be an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.  I look forward to the parade in January, and wish these students the best as they prepare for their trip.”
