BOSTON – Senator John Kerry will speak at the unveiling and dedication of the Massachusetts Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the State House on Tuesday.

“The Massachusetts Fallen Firefighters’ Memorial is a long overdue tribute to our state’s brave firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty. Dedicated on the sixth anniversary of 9/11 when so many firefighters died so others could live, this memorial is a reminder that no one should never take for granted the service of these incredible public servants,” said Senator Kerry. “I am honored to be part of the dedication ceremony, and I hope this memorial provides some small reminder to firefighters and the families of those we’ve lost of just how grateful we are for their sacrifice.”
