Northern owns and manages 14 Bcf of operational storage inventory.
This storage inventory is used to balance the daily operation of the pipeline
system and to support the requirements associated with resolving imbalances,
scheduling tolerances and no-notice service. Due to long-term Operational Storage
requirements and to manage storage field inventories, Northern may at times solicit
offers from parties for the purchase or sale of operational storage volumes.

A four day outlook for Northern’s system weighted temperature which is calculated
using the wind adjusted temperatures of 21 cities located within Northern’s market area,
weighted by the forecasted and historical volumes associated with those cities. |
