U. S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) will attend events in Mississippi during the month of August from Tuesday, August 6, until Friday, August 9.

Senator Cochran will speak at the ribbon cutting/building dedication ceremony for the new General Dynamics facility in Stone County on Tuesday, August 6, at 11:00 a.m. (Central). The event will take place at the new facility located at 488 E. McHenry Road in McHenry.

At 2:30 p.m. (Central) on August 6, the Senator will speak at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mary O'Keefe Cultural Center for Arts and Education located on 1600 Government Street in Ocean Springs.

Later on August 6, the Senator will address the Harrison County Republican Club at 5:30 p.m. (Central) at the Great Southern Club, 1 Hancock Plaza, Suite 1112, in Gulfport.

On Thursday, August 8, at 11:15 a.m. (Central), Senator Cochran will be the keynote speaker at the summer meeting of the Central Area Mississippi Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. The event will take place at the Neshoba County Coliseum in Philadelphia.

Senator Cochran will address a joint meeting of the Yazoo City Rotary Club and the Yazoo City Lions Club on Friday, August 9, at 12:00 noon (Central) at Delta Courts Fitness Club in Yazoo City.
