WASHINGTON- Congressman Lee Terry (R-NE) issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 7321, the Auto Industry Financing and Restructuring Act.
“The auto industry, a vital commercial enterprise in our economy has fallen upon hard times,” said Congressman Terry. “Unfortunately legislation brought to the House floor today will not in my view, create the change that is needed. This bill is a hand out to be used for cash flow, which is no different from what they asked for the first time.”
