Recently, I had the opportunity to vist with students from Bath County High School. I am continually amazed by the caliber of the students across the region and in the Commonwealth.
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Major Todd Reed, Executive Officer, 478th Engineer Battalion. Major Reed was the guest speakers at the “Welcome Home” ceremony for the 396th Engineer Company.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Locust Grove Elementary School to answer questions from 4th and 5th grade students. As usual, I was very impressed with the students’ preparedness and interests.
Recently, I visited the new addition of the Fleming County Hospital. Director David Sirk gave me a great tour of the hospital’s new state-of-the-art facility.
Recently, I visited with the 6th grade class from Beechwood Elementary School during their visit to Washington, D.C.
Recently, I had the privilege of hosting my fourth “Academy Day”, this time located at Dixie Heights High School in Edgewood. Approximately seventy people attended to learn more about our nation’s military academies.
Recently, I visited with 5th graders at Williamstown Elementary. We discussed the legislative process and the roles and responsibilities of Congress.
Recently, I had the honor and privilege of speaking at the dedication of the new Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown. Being surrounded by those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation's values was a moving experience.
Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a meeting with leaders and members of the Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) hosted by Harold and Shannon Burton at their livestock operation. It was a great evening.

Recently, the McDowell Family from Taylor Mill in Kenton County stopped by the Washington, D.C., office to visit and go on a tour of the Capitol building.
Recently, Congressman Davis met with Cindy Sproehnle, Assessment Center Director at Gateway Community & Technical College, Jane Ernst of Loveland Schools and Dr. Siobhan Barone of Thomas More College.
Recently, Congressman Davis made a visit to New Horizons Medical Center in Owenton. Congressman Davis discussed rural health issues with New Horizons’ medical staff. Pictured above with me are New Horizons Administrator Bernie Poe and Dr. Eric Baumann.
Recently, Congressman Davis met with Chris Goddard of HealthPoint in our Washington, D.C. office. In addition to the tremendous job Chris does leading HealthPoint, he is also a valuable resource for health care policy to our office.
