SUBJECT: Mailing Services
Because of recent changes in U.S. Postal Regulations and past difficulties encountered by customer agencies in identifying postage costs associated with printing and binding work, the Government Printing Office (GPO) is now offering mailing service on a reimbursable basis. Postage will be paid by the contractor or GPO when the material is turned over to the Postal Service. Some of the advantages are as follows:
While GPO will add our standard administrative charge to the cost of postage, we believe the advantages that will be provided and the possible cost savings are considerable.
