Senator Levin's regional office in Saginaw serves the communities north of the metro Detroit Area on the sunrise side of Michigan. The office is located near the heart of downtown Saginaw and provides assistance to constituents and communities on issues involving the federal government. From individual concerns related to federal programs to challenges facing urban areas to issues involving farming and agriculture, the office helps constituents to address their concerns.

The region is home to business and manufacturing industries, community development organizations in urban areas such as Flint and Saginaw, universities and colleges, major health care systems, agriculture, and the deactivated Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda.

Senator Levin has fought to keep industry in this area of Michigan, supporting efforts such as the Casting Emissions Reduction Plan, which has helped to retain many jobs in the Tri-City area. He has worked to help bring cutting edge technology to Michigan through funding the Dendrimer Technology Program, while helping to expand the availability of loans and technical assistance to small business. The health care concerns of the uninsured and under-insured are also a major focus of Senator Levin. Senator Levin has also helped to secure federal matching dollars for the trails and greenways project that provides a beautiful non-motorized bike trail routing through Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties.
